“We loved our weekly sessions with Sarah. She is knowledgeable, patient, encouraging, and genuinely caring. She is a trainer of both pups and humans! I love that she teaches the whole family, including my children. Each session in her program is built on skills from the previous week. We started with basics and learned something new each session while reviewing and enforcing what we already knew. Sarah helped my dog and me gain so much knowledge and confidence. From basic commands, to being in public, to being in public with other (distracting!) dogs.
Having Sarah’s dog Betsy at the sessions as both a playmate and an example for my dog was a great benefit because my young pup was able to socialize, play, and burn energy both before and after sessions which helped her stay focused during class time.
I also loved that Sarah sent follow up emails after each session reviewing what we learned and listed practice homework during the week.
