Training for Happy, Confident Dogs

We believe that every owner has the potential to be their dog’s best teacher. Our philosophy is rooted in the idea that when you provide a dog with clarity, consistency, and confidence, they will naturally rise to meet your expectations.

Jess & Sarah: We first met while volunteering at our kids’ school in Castle Rock, helping teachers tackle projects in the staff workroom. Not long after, we realized we had been working out at the same time at the Castle Rock Rec Center—it turns out our paths had been crossing long before we officially met!

Our shared love for dogs quickly became a friendship and eventually a partnership. What started as a passion for working with our own pups has grown into a business where we help other families build stronger, happier relationships with their dogs.

When we’re not working with clients, you’ll often find us hiking, practicing yoga, or volunteering at a local service dog school. There, we help puppies learn the skills they need to become service dogs for veterans and their families—something that means a great deal to both of us.

Whether we’re training, volunteering, or spending time with our own dogs, we’re grateful every day that a simple moment of volunteering brought us together and led us to this journey.

Meet Jess: Your local dog enthusiast and professional trainer. Jess knows first hand that life with dogs isn’t always Instagram perfect—it’s messy, loud, and full of chewed up shoes. That’s why she’s dedicated to helping families build real-world skills that actually stick. When she isn’t helping her clients’ pups thrive, you can find her walking her own dog, Rosie, practicing downward facing dog at her favorite yoga studio, or traveling with her husband and two active kids.

Meet Sarah: Sarah’s love for animals started early. At just seven years old, she trained her first miniature poodle, discovering a natural ability to communicate with dogs through patience, consistency, and trust. By fifteen, her dedication had already grown into something bigger - she saved up enough to buy her first horse, beginning a lifelong journey working with animals of all kinds.

During college, Sarah took her passion even further while living in Florida, where she worked as a dolphin trainer. There, she developed advanced training techniques rooted in positive reinforcement, timing, and a deep understanding of animal behavior.

Today, Sarah lives on a small farm in Franktown, surrounded by the animals she loves. Her days are shared with horses, four dogs, two cats, and a lively flock of more than forty chickens, along with ducks and geese. With decades of hands-on experience across multiple species, Sarah brings a calm, thorough approach to dog training–helping both dogs and their owners build stronger, happier relationships.
